The story begins in the summer of 2015… Over a glass of wine (we mean water, of course), Alina and a group of industry friend were discussing the challenges of recruiting good staff within the health and fitness sector. They agreed there was a big gap in the online job board market; why wasn’t there a modern, affordable and most importantly effective online job board for recruiting fitness professionals.
A kick ass team was brought together and they began hatching a plan… Then came the ‘eureka’ moment!
Alina had met her husband on match.com. She created a profile, selected her criteria and within a matter of minutes she was presented with a number of matches. The top match was a very lovely man called Simon and fast forward 3 years they are now happily married!
This online culture and demand for instant results is seeping into almost every corner of our lives. We can now get information, entertainment, and services in the exact moment we want them. Alina began wondering why this couldn’t be applied to recruitment. If you can be matched with your husband online, why couldn’t you be matched with potential candidates or jobs?
After several months of research and planning the idea for FitLinks was born. Since then, the team have worked tirelessly to create the first ever, intuitive, online talent matching recruitment service.
