GetSetGo! Is a fantastic new start up business with full investor backing and an exciting expansion strategy. The first GetSetGo! club opens in January 2021 and the company aims to have 5-7 clubs within the next 5 years.

We are looking for an experienced Health Club Manager who will immerse themselves in the role, become an integral part of the management team and who can grow alongside this company expansion.

Duties and responsibilities

The Club Manager is responsible for driving profitability of the business, in particular through retaining and attracting clients (net gain) and driving sales of all of our services. Ensuring operational efficiency, delivery of brand standards and compliance with company and statutory requirements, all through effective leadership of the club team.

This is a real and exciting opportunity to develop and drive the launch of the business and be part of an ambitious startup company.

Key areas of responsibility include;

Build and lead an industry-leading team, by continually inspiring and motivating them to deliver better results and customer experience.
Develop the club’s profit streams, to ensure optimum performance against budget.
Review financial targets against budget and report to the COO as required.
Achieve financial net gain targets through close management of the sales and marketing
Manage daily operations across the club. Communicate daily and weekly targets and facilitate their achievement through the team.
Monitor all costs to maximise efficiency. In particular payroll costs to be managed within budget while ensuring adequate cover of all business areas.
Manage stocks efficiently
Proactively manage and be responsible for all Hygiene, Maintenance and Health and Safety issues, ensuring a safe environment for employees and members.

Pre Requisites and Attributes

A minimum of 3 years experience in health club or family club general management.
Absolute fluency in written and spoken English
Experience in sales and customer service and understand the true meaning of a ‘5 star service’.

Remuneration

Salary: £42,000 FTE plus performance related bonus
Hours of work: 5 days/ 40hours per week. Includes 1 weekend a month.
28 days’ holiday year pro rata inclusive of bank holidays
25% ‘friends and family’ discount off all club services and classes.

This position is seen as the first step for future career progression into a multi-site management role.
