One of the most important areas of the club will be the swimming pool and it’s full service Swim Academy offering lessons to babies, children and adults.

The Swim Manager role is massively important to the Company as it is integral to the day to day running of the business. You will provide the backbone and support for your club area and will be the central driver for all sales and swimming lesson bookings.

Reporting directly to and working alongside the Club Manager, You will be a brand ambassador for GetSetGo! and will contribute and continue the successful commercial growth, strong customer service experience and excellent Instructor relations that the company values uphold.

Duties and responsibilities

The Swim Manager is responsible for the management and delivery of all activities within the pool zone. Responsible for driving sales and achieving monthly targets and recruiting and managing a highly effective swim team.

Build and lead an industry-leading aquatics team, by continually inspiring and motivating them to deliver better results and customer experience.
Responsible for hitting swim academy performance targets.
Management of swimming lessons bookings and tracking bookings made through online bookings portal.
Responsible for maximizing the swim timetable, suggesting additional classes and tweaks to current timetable.
Responsible for sourcing, developing and managing the relationships with third party aquatics activity partners to ensure all allocated time slots are full at all times.
Management and compliance of pool plant operations
Duty Management responsibilities and liaison with other club department managers.
Management reporting
Stock control: Badges, awards, uniform equipment and swim retail
Development of the holiday club programs with the Head of Studio Programming.
Deliver a minimum of 15 hours of classes per week ( this will reduce once the programme hits a certain level)


Recognised swim teaching qualifications
2 years of Swim school management/coordinator experience
Have outstanding computer literacy. We use several integrated booking and management systems.


Salary: £30,000 plus 25% performance related bonus

Hours of work: 40 hours per week including one weekend per month. You will also be required to provide club opening and closing responsibilities as shared with other managers.

28 days’ holiday year inclusive of bank holidays

This position is seen as the first step for future career progression in swim school or leisure club operations and management and you will be mentored on our management training programme to learn about all areas of operations and club management.

Any external management courses will be paid for by the company in line with contractual obligations.
